Yin Yoga, An Ancient Tradition of Transformations



At the beginning of the development Yin yoga, many people were enthusiastic about learning. However, some people consider this style is a bit "foreign" because it doesn't look like the yoga they are familiar with. As time goes by, more and more of the yoga practitioners finally realize that Yin yoga has its own place. Like finding a "hidden treasure", many yoga lovers find out what yin yoga is.


Yin Yoga becomes more and more well known nowadays. Not because the pose looks cool, but because the benefits are real. With simple movements that adjust to different human body types, it turns out very useful for improving the circulation of prana or chi inside our body.


Indeed, "Yin Yoga" is new, but the spirit that creates this style has been developing for thousand years. Yin Yang is a philosophy of life that prioritizes balance. This is the well-known basic principle, and when we applied in the modern era it will become unique and special.


The question is, is it necessary to adopt ancient traditions and concoct them into modern version?


The answer is: absolutely! Yin Yoga is very related to Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). This scientifically developed for a very long time and still exist today. Time has proven that “natural medicine” is a safe treatment and is still in demand.


It could be said that Yin Yoga is a yoga style that applies ancient traditions to be brought back today. Its unique approach is able to restore energy balance in the body and creating harmony in our body.


Today is the last day for participants Module 2, “Unwind & Letting Go.”
