Love & Gratitude

Day 5 TTC Modul-1: 4-8 June 2024

There are times when I'm intrigued while doing WhatsApp chat for our offline teacher training program. People texted and asked, "Where's the teacher training held?"

Then I answered: "Jimbaran" And they replied again: "Wow, it's far away, I live in Denpasar."

At this point, I feel like I was starting to be unwilling to continue the conversation. Why?

*Let my story answers.

Before teaching yoga, I was already interested in spirituality. And as a Hindu, yoga is very familiar to me. But at that time, there is only a little literature available to learn. There are not many spiritual communities based on yoga. It could be said that my yoga at that time was only on paper.

Because of my strong will to find a teacher, the universe finally brought that path together. But it's not smooth, everything comes with great struggle, strong determination and as much sacrifice as I can make at this time. It's a tough road indeed. I “lost” many things, including the people I loved.

But it all paid off. My determination has taught me many life lessons. Apparently, this is the blessing that God wants to give me. And slowly, everything got better and better. Not because my trials have been made smaller, but because I have been strengthened. It could be said that Yuni and I had enlightenment. And we began to pursue the path of yoga, until now.

Currently, many people are obsessed with becoming yoga teachers for simple reasons.

For example: some people want to do yoga for part time. And some others do for the main income to pay the living. That's fine. However, some others may have similar stories to me.

If only when I started yoga, there had been an opportunity to learn and join the teacher training, not only Denpasar - Jimbaran, even Denpasar - Himalayas, i will chase and go there! For me, yoga is enlightenment. The path that brought and shaped me to be who I am today.

* That was my answer which I did not continue in the chat above.

“Do all the kindness that you can, because tomorrow will bring a new story. Be thankful.”

For all friends who have studied with us, thank you.

Your good intentions and sincerity in deepening yoga will definitely turn out to fruitful goodness, Na'ma'ska'r.
